Today we’d like to talk to you about what outstanding customer service is. That term depends on the customer’s point of view. When the customer is the landlord, outstanding customer service isn’t just collecting the rent or evicting a tenant who isn’t paying rent. It’s about making sure the owner’s money is spent wisely.
How do you do that? If you get a call from the air conditioning company that you have an air conditioner leaking, and the unit is only two years old but they can’t find the source of leak, so they have to do a nitrogen test that will cost $350. You’re going to How A Coral Springs Property Management Company Looks After Your Homehave to understand what that means so you can go back to the owner and tell him it’s a necessary test that will help us understand what’s wrong with the unit. If you can do that on a consistent basis and diagnose problems correctly, you’ll be giving outstanding customer service to the property owner.
Communication is also an important part of providing outstanding customer service. If you don’t communicate properly, you’ll know how important it is because you’ll hear about it. You’ve got to keep the owner in the loop and tell them what’s going on even when you don’t have much to say. You have to let them know you’re on the problem and working on a solution, and you’ll get back to them as soon as you have something definitive to say.
That’s what you have to do to provide outstanding customer service to the owner. If you have any questions about this, or you’d like to learn more about us, please contact us at Florida Management & Consulting Group.
